Monique Lathon has made it her mission to help her family members amplify their voices when receiving medical care. Across the West Louisville community, and the United States, Black and other racial and ethnic populations are often not heard by their primary care providers and don’t receive the proper care.
Racial disparities in healthcare are persistent. CAB is striving to improve the health outcomes for community members by providing resources that encourage members to find trusted primary care providers to whom they can communicate their questions and concerns.
