Soul is just one of many people who experienced being treated unfairly in healthcare. COVID-19 never crossed Soul’s mind, but after becoming sick with COVID-19 and seeking medical care – she was devastatingly met with no compassion. Truth is, the healthcare system is not fair to people of color, especially Black women.
Debunking myths, reducing fear, and instilling confidence for members in the West End to seek healthcare are our top priorities. It is our mission to provide the healthcare resources and assistance that everyone deserves, and Soul entrusted us to do so.
